A little bit about me

Hello,
My name is Tricia. I started caring for children when I was only TEN (I'm now 60). My neighbor was only gone for about an hour and a half, to teach a ballet class. Her infant was only TWO & half weeks old! Looking back, I think she was half Crazy!! We still talk about all today. One thing led to another & I was one of the FAVORED babysitters & the youngest in our nice neighborhood in Jacksonville, FL.
I have 3 adult children that are very successful, healthy & HAPPY. 🤗 I'm a VERY PROUD Mom.
I'm presently employed as a caregiver for the elderly. LUV what I do but work has slowed a bit since many snowbirds have left.
Hoping I may be able to help some families in Palm City, Stuart, Port St. Lucie or Jensen Beach. I ADORE little ones and miss caring for them.

I use to volunteer in my children's schools in mathematics department, on field trips & with general things.
Later in life (before kiddos) I volunteered as a "Big Sister" for about four years. Really felt satisfaction in doing this for an underprivileged child.

A few of my top concerns about being a nanny are as follows: Safety ALWAYS, to follow out all instructions, to build rapport & trust with parents and their children & to have as much fun as possible!!
I LUV the outdoors, especially sports, going to the park, the beach, getting ice cream, maybe from the "Popsicle Man!

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was going on vacations with different families. One of my first experiences was at "Grandfathers Mountain" where I was responsible for 5 children to care for & keep entertained. Was a blast & never a dull moment!!!
