I grew up in Vermont with 3 younger siblings that I helped care for. My little brother was 2 yrs younger than me so I helped him with his homework when needed. My younger sisters I cared for from when they were newborns until they were 2 because I moved to CT to live with my Grandparents to go to high school out here.. I took childcare safety and cpr classes back then and I can take another class to update my certification. During the day when I cared for my sisters I would read to them and the older one of the 2 liked to do artwork so we would have art time where she liked to draw and color. We also would go for walks and bake cookies. I also babysat for my bosses daughter during that time as well. I’m very good with children I have a lot of patience and make an effort to understand where they are coming from so they don’t get upset to prevent any tantrums that some children may get.
