Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked with children of all ages from the time I was old enough to babysit. I’ve taken care of neighbors’ kids, volunteered in Sunday school classes and the AWANA program, I’ve worked as a Teacher‘s Assistant and was the babysitter for my parents’ Bible study group. On top of that, I’ve been a SAHM for over 10 years. I have two boys of my own as well as a stepdaughter. Our newest blessing (a boy!) is due this fall.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love visiting parks and the library with my own children and the children I watch. At home, we color, bake, play outside, walk around the neighborhood do puzzles and read books.

I have limited experience with high functioning autistic children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I’ll never forget my first babysitting job. My sister and I were young teens, so we paired up to watch three little boys in our neighborhood while their parents went on a date night. The youngest was barely two years old. What I remember most from that experience were the older two brothers referring to the youngest brother as “our baby.” Hearing that absolutely melted my heart!
