I have cared for a young boy who had a trachea tube in his throat & a young boy who had to use a full stand up walker.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I was caring for a family of 3 children, which included an infant. The other two children (3rd grader & kindergartner) loved to count how many steps their infant brother took when he was learning to walk. They were so proud to show mom when she got home, but he wasn't wanting to walk that day... then one of them said, "Watch mom he'll walk to Peggy." I initially felt bad until the mom said that that meant the world to her that he walked to me.
