I enjoy doing anything that makes the kids happy. I love playing pretend, dress up, or with dolls. I also love to do paintings with kids or making art and crafts!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I feel like one of the most important things about being a nanny is forming that connection with the child. What I mean by this is actually talking and playing with the kids, it’s important to keep them safe but it is also important to have fun with them. Developing that trust with the kid and the parents.
My experience with special needs children...
I am taking a class at Olympic College where I learn how to care for special needs kids. I also have worked with several kids with disabilities! I grew up around disabled people so I know how to handle and take care of people with them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is when I put down three kids for bed and right after their parents come back home. I had left when the parents called me. They told me that their youngest son was crying because he didn’t get to give me a hug bye. I immediately turned around to go back and give him a hug goodnight.
