More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve gained child care experience over the past five years through babysitting, working in a daycare, and part-time nannying. Babysitting helped me build strong one-on-one skills with kids of different ages, while my daycare experience gave me the ability to manage groups and follow structured routines. As a part-time nanny, I’ve provided personalized care, supported daily routines, and built strong, trusting relationships with both kids and parents.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing hands-on activities with kids that encourage learning through play and spark their curiosity. Whether it's arts and crafts, sensory play, or simple science experiments, I enjoy creating opportunities for them to explore and discover new things in fun, age-appropriate ways.
Outdoor time is also very important to me. I think fresh air and active play are key to a child’s development and well-being. I enjoy taking kids to the park, going on nature walks, or even turning the backyard into a little adventure with games, scavenger hunts, or imaginative play.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, supportive relationship with the child and their family. Kids need to feel safe, cared for, and understood in order to grow and thrive—and that starts with being consistent, patient, and genuinely engaged.
It’s not just about supervising; it’s about showing up with empathy, creating a positive environment, and being someone they can count on every day.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny memories was when the little boy I watched insisted on having a “fancy dinner” one afternoon—for lunch. He had me help him dress up in a superhero costume, set the table with plastic tea cups, and play classical music from my phone. We ate peanut butter sandwiches with our pinkies up and spoke in our “fanciest” voices.
It was hilarious and so fun, and we both couldn’t stop laughing. Moments like that remind me how creative kids are and how much joy there is in just going along with their imagination.
