More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a sleep away camp this past summer where I lived with a group of 8 seven year olds for a month. I was there primary caregiver for that entire duration. I have also been a swim instructor/coach for the past 4 years where I have worked with kids of all ages. Lastly, I have babysat for kids ages 3-12 for four years on and off.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love getting to help kids with reading and homework! I am currently studying to be an elementary school teacher so it is something I really enjoy. I also love getting outside and exploring nature whether that is going on a walk/easy hike, going on a bike ride, or going bird watching!

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children on the autism spectrum, non verbal children, children with Angelmans syndrome, children with physical disabilities, and children with all kinds of mental health issues such as anxiety, ADHD, and anger issues.
