A little bit about me

I have 7 kids , I didn't birth all them myself. Lol! If your looking for someone to look after your kid(s) as if they were my own, that is me! Kids love me. I like most kids.
( Every now and then I meet a kid that I just won't watch. ) Safety is the first priority. Playing and having fun is pretty important too! Respect for your child, your house and your rules are an absolute. I drive my own Prius and have taken driving defense courses. I was certified as a "Babysitter" when I was 13 through UNLV. Since then I have stayed up to date with all CPR and first aid education. If one of my kids needs to spend time with me I will ask if it's ok that I bring my child with me. Animals are part of the family and I understand that to be very important part of care taking. Homework -Yes I help with that too. Errands, yes I can do that too. Pretty much nothing shocks me and I probably have been there done that for most situations. Also, I'm a pretty good cook.

My experience with special needs children...

My own kids have non-typical issues. I grew up in the deaf community, so I have a little ASL and some Spanish capabilities. I understand the psychology behind being kind and caring. Special needs or non-typical kids are a golden opportunity to learn so much more from and about this world. I am one of those people that will sit on the floor wherever need be and help a melt down to calm down. Freaking out , doesn't freak me out. Everyone has something to learn and something to teach. Take every opportunity to gain knowledge.
