I have 550+ hours of hands-on experience with children through seven semesters of practicum in elementary schools and Early Childhood Head Start classrooms, including infant, toddler, preschool, and kindergarten settings. I also volunteered in childcare at Hill City Church in Springfield every Sunday for one semester.

I enjoy doing crafts, playing outside, reading books, playing games, and finding fun, creative ways to learn and explore together!

I have personal experience with special needs children through growing up with my older brother, who has autism. This has taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and understanding each child’s individual needs. I also have experience through my Early Childhood Education coursework and practicum.
