I was a full time nanny for a family of 5 in Vermont. I mainly cared for their 6 and 3 year old but I also helped drive their 12 and 14 year old. I helped clean, cook, and grocery shop. Last fall I was also a part time nanny for a family of two girls, age 1 and 3.

I love reading, playing with toys, being outside, and exploring, swimming, biking, fairy house building, Legos. I am all for encouraging a child's imagination.

The most important thing about nannying is good communication with the parents about theirs needs. I also so think is very important to make a child feel safe through boundaries while still letting them explore the world.
