I am Poorvi and I am currently a 16-year-old at Amador Valley High School with lots of experience working with children of all ages. I have worked with babies and toddlers as I grew up near a foster care home in Canada where I volunteered every weekend carrying out duties such as playing with the kids, taking them to the park, and helping teach them how to clean and take care of themselves, organizing their stuff, feeding them and even changing baby diapers sometimes. I am an incredibly social person and absolutely love working with kids. Kids feel safe around me and often say that they had a memorable time under my care. Overall, I also like housekeeping and am often responsible for cleaning, cooking, and completing chores around the house. I have been volunteering at the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop for a few months now where I am often responsible for organization and sanitization. I will able to both take care of kids effectively and provide excellent household services.
