The most important part about being a nanny...
Safety, routine and interaction , learning, and structure. Safety because at all times I have to make sure the child doesn't get into anything that harms them or making sure nothing can put them in danger. Routine is a big one too so tge child adapts to having a sitter and if they have a Routine such as, snack play and nap, and interaction) it makes everything flow easier. Interaction because baby sitting isn't just about "watching the kid" I wanna bring out the child's personality, teach them new words and help them grow over all as well as having those silly play time moments. Structure because without Structure there is chaos, so being able to create an environment that makes the child feel safe a nurtured not like a random person is just watching over them.
