The most important part of being a nanny is building trust and connection with both the children and their family. Children thrive when they feel safe, supported, and understood. The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when a child I cared for said one of their first clear words during the day. We had spent a lot of time reading books and talking through our daily activities, so it was incredibly special to see that language start to come to life. I shared the moment with their parent right away, and seeing their excitement and pride was just as meaningful as hearing the word itself. Moments like that remind me how special it is to support a child’s growth while keeping parents connected to those milestones.
