I am a 22 year old graduate from the University of Connecticut. I have experience taking care of a younger sibling, niece & nephew, along with basic baby-sitting experience. I have a natural inclination and eagerness to take care of children and would love to help them with learning/school tasks, introduce them to art and nature, and cultivate their well-being and daily lives. I am hard-working, reliable, trustworthy and very flexible with my schedule. I am a positive, creative, friendly, and compassionate individual who enjoys taking care of others and assisting a family with their children’s needs. I have experience taking care of my brother, but especially my young niece and nephew. During college, I volunteered at an elementary school as a mentor to three students each semester. This mentorship allowed the student and I to cultivate a trusting relationship where they could share their feelings, reveal any problems from home or school, and cultivate interpersonal communication.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Hiking/nature walks, reading and writing, playing sports, going to the beach, painting and drawing, and overall spending time in nature.
