My high school did a thing every holiday season where students pair up with children who cannot afford gifts and go to stores to buy presents. It’s called SWAG(shop with a greyhound).
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love going to the park and petting animals. I’m also big on games especially game nights with my friends. I will play twister and hide and go seek for hours just to make the kids laugh because I enjoy it just as much. I'm also big on baking so if possible I will be in the kitchen with kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To really understand the kid and their set needs. As young as they are these first years are memorable and what matures them into their adult self so to form bonds and fun memories is what a nanny is supposed to do.
My experience with special needs children...
My best friend Avery babysits a 13 year old girl,Kenna, who has downs. She is the sweetest girl and has a big personality. Every summer we take her to the pool and just a few weeks back she went bowling with me and some friends.
