Hi, my name is Rachel and I just recently graduated from UCF! I come from a big family and I grew up watching my younger family members my whole life. I also have experience volunteering with elementary school children throughout my four years of high school. I really enjoy taking care of children and enjoy helping them learn and grow at every stage of their young lives. I consider myself to be responsible, caring, and reliable. I am more than happy to help with light housekeeping and or meal preps during downtime/nap time. I have my own reliable vehicle and am available as a source of transportation if needed. I am also CPR certified and have taken courses on basic life support which are very useful when watching children. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have over a year of volunteer work with children at a community center. Children would come after school from 5-14 years old and I would help with homework, watch them play outside, play games with them, create multiple activities for them to do, etc. I have watched younger family members for years for hours on end. I have also been a nanny/babysitter for other families throughout the years!

Some activities I enjoy are painting, swimming, reading/storytelling, scavenger hunts, and playground days.

The most important part about being a nanny is ensuring a child or children’s safety. It is very important for a child to feel comfortable under the nanny’s care. I find it crucial to create and maintain a good relationship between a nanny and parents/children in order to keep a happy work environment.
