A little bit about me

I have been babysitting for 24 years since I was 12 years old. I have a degree in Education (Early childhood through sixth grade). I have worked in an elementary school as well as in a preschool. I have nannied for children ages 2 months and up. I have watched as many as six children at a time. Because I have a degree in Education, I enjoy doing lessons and crafts with the children I watch. I also love reading, and doing Science experiments. I have been told that I am reliable, loving, enthusiastic, organized and responsible. If you need a reference, I can have one of my previous families. I have previous experience with multiples. I will do a background check if you need me to. I am not currently CPR/first aid certified but I can be. I have been certified in the past, so I know the procedures.

I recently moved and had to leave the family I was with. The 9 year old boy was so sad that he said he would sit on the curb and watch me drive away. Looking at him in the mirror made me so sad, but an opportunity to live with my twin opened up and I had to take it. I still go and visit him sometimes and he always knocks me over with hugs. That is a moment I will never forget.
