My favorite part of nannying for 7 years with Atalisa was having the amazing opportunity to provide and create a safe container for her to be loved, seen, heard and for her to have someone she trusted to confide in, could be her dazzling self and thrive!
Her mother had severe mental health issues causing her to be unable to provide the love and care she desired in her heart.
She did her best to give Attie the best life she could and hired me to come and live with them to care for her and their household with all that they needed.
My favorite moments were the times that we could deeply connect on what she was experiencing in her life and coming up with stories to help her heal from the trauma she had experienced.
I loved our silly dance parties, cooking delicious and nutritious food and watching her grow & blossom from 1-8 years old.
We both learned so much from each other and she will forever be one of my favorite people, always in my heart and prayers.
