More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been a toddler teacher for eight years. I have worked in a preschool. I was involved in homeschooling for five years. I have been a nanny for two families. One for eight years and the other for five. I volunteered in my sons tiny tots class as an assistant teacher for two years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Art projects, such as painting, glue, and other mediums. Looking for bugs outside and nature. Gardening and music and movement. Reading books. Singing songs. Going to the beach all different times of the year not just the summer. Love the Zoo and Seaworld. Going on walks and going to the park. Just being in the present moment really being there with the child.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is finding the right. Nannies provide much-needed care for the child but also can be instrumental in keeping things running smoothly in a household of busy parents. With a strong work ethic and experience they can enrich families lives and bring comfort and consistency to the daily routines of childhood.
My experience with special needs children...
My friends son is very high on the spectrum and requires quite a bit of care. I have helped her by mimicking hairstyles with him to ease up interactions when we are together. There have been a handful of kids in the group care that have had special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Was when I took my charges to the beach. Their parents were not beach people. I planned a field trip and we spent the morning there. Seeing their faces, when we tide pooled, and then later, splashed in the waves was priceless.

Part-Time Nanny Available in San Diego, CA: Ashley A.
Hi, I’m Ashley! I believe the best nannies become an extension of the family, and that’s exactly the role I’ve had the privilege of filling for the past three years. Working for a single father taught me the importance of being dependable, proactive, and creating a calm, loving environment where children can thrive. I enjoy planning outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, reading, and activities that encourage curiosity and confidence. Whether I’m helping with school routines, after-school activities, household organization, or simply being a trusted, caring presence, my goal is to make life a little easier for parents while creating happy childhood memories. I’m looking for a family where I can build a long-term relationship and provide the same level of care, dedication, and support that I brought to my previous family.

Hi! I’m currently taking a gap from college to explore my career goals and navigate my midtwenties. I grew up helping my mom, who’s been a licensed home childcare provider for over 25 years, so I’ve always been surrounded by children. I have experience caring for kids from 3months to 7 years old and truly love watching them learn and grow.
I’m CPR and AED certified, detail-oriented, and reliable. I make sure children’s schedules, food lists, and routines are always up to date. I love creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids can be themselves and parents can feel at ease. One day, I hope to become a teacher, and I see every childcare experience as a chance to learn, connect, and make a difference!
