A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Rachel Nelson and I am 20 years old and looking for a summer nannying position. I love working with kids and have done babysitting and nanny work in the past. I am willing to cook and clean as needed as well as run errands. I have always had a passion for looking after children as that is something I have grown up doing. I have also had the privilege of serving children throughout my life and last year I got to be a camp counselor for a program called world relief where I was able to care and create a fun environment for refugee children. I think having the right person taking care of, encouraging, and influencing your children is crucial in shaping your child’s life and who they will become. Having a positive role model in the home is super important when it comes to child development and creating habits for your child. I was largely shaped by my older sister who was my primary role model and babysitter as a kid and I would not be who I am today without her.
