Hello, my name is Rachel.

I have grown up around young children most of my life. I have been married to spouses who had young children. And I was an exceptional caregiver and parent to those children. I believed that having patience, empathy, strong communication, and flexibility to handle the unpredictable nature of children were the key to success. I have always been engaging with kids, I believe that kids are in there natural elements when they can express creatively. I used to teach art for my Sunday school at my church for 6 kids for an hour every week. I had creative ideas for crafts and organizational skills, responsibility, and the ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions. I have taken care of nieces and nephews when they were little. I started babysitting for my neighbors when I was fourteen. I have been a parent to children. I have the skills it takes to be present and accountable and responsible for the needs and demands of a child.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

My indoor activities include coloring and drawing. Singing and Dancing. Playing dress up. Reading stories. Watching educational shows with kids. Having crafting time, making art with kids is important.

Outdoor would be anything winter is building a snowman. Outside swings or slide if there is the equipment. Or in the spring / summer fun enjoyable walks or park day.
