My name is Rachelle. I am from Brooklyn NY but originated from Haiti and Cuba. I am a mother who is raising her children single. I currently work as a college counselor in Stone Mountain. I am fairly new to the state as my 3 children and my mother relocated from Florida. I care my 73 year old mother ( she comes with me any and everywhere I go. Before I got in to this career i was a pre-med student at Long Island University in my hometown Brooklyn NY. At the moment I am seeking second employment and want to give back. The most important part about being a nanny...

Most important part about being a nanny is helping our another family. We all have busy lives and sometimes we all can use a little help and grace. The only person that ever watches my children is really my mother and that's all they know. So I get it, both parents are working, maybe going to school or working a personal goals and having children, with child care expenses it could be a bit much. I am here to help make YOUR lives a little easier by extended my service and grace so you can get somewhat focus on other things. And plus, medical school is expensive and I need the extra income :). LET'S HELP ONE ANOTHER!!!!

My experience with special needs children...

My 5 year nephew was born with down syndrome. I worked with special needs children when I was a Medical Assistant. My experience with them is that they teach me how to be patient and to meet them where there and get to their level to help them communicate better. I am still in the process of pursuing my medical degree and the goal is to become a Pediatrician.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have never been a nanny before but I am a mother :). And my favorite moment with my children is being with them everyday. Caring for them, loving on them, teaching, playing, converse with them even about the tough topics. My favorite moment with any children is the memory they will leave with you.
