Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor activities I love to do with children on a rainy day are crafts, board games, hide and seek, and more. If the children are tired a movie day is also a great time in my book! To add more creativity to it we can add in some popcorn and candy.. but not too much.😁 I think it is very important for kids to spend time outside.. some outdoor activities I love are going to the park, pool days, bubbles, tag, racing, building a fort and so much more!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny is patience, trust and having a big heart. I fully believe children can tell if your heart is in it or not. If they don’t feel as if you are genuine and they can trust you, it’ll never work out.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for 2 children that have autism, one being my cousin. Ever since we were born we have had a close relationship, which has taught me a lot on how to handle certain situation and tend to their specific needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is seeing and feeling how the relationship grow with the kids from start to finish. Seeing them start out as being shy to watching their little personality come to life the more comfortable they get.
