One of the toddlers I cared for had a tough time with her mom and dad being gone, and she would cry when they left and at bed time every day. She started feeling more comfortable as the months went by. One day while I was plating her food, she randomly told me she loved me and gave me a bear hug. One of my favorite nanny moments by far.
