Hi! My name is Randi. I’m 24 years old and currently living in Belle Plaine, MN while commuting to school in Mankato. I’ve been babysitting and nannying since I was 14, with experience ranging from occasional weekend care to full-time nanny positions for multiple families. I absolutely love working with kids—whether that means planning fun outings, getting creative with crafts and games at home, or just being a dependable, caring presence. I've been caring for children in many different settings since I was 14. I'm the oldest of five, so I naturally stepped into a caregiving role at home from a young age. Outside of family, I’ve had both regular nannying jobs and occasional babysitting gigs for families with kids of all ages. I also worked as a lifeguard for several years, where I taught swim lessons and supervised children in and around water—so I'm very comfortable handling responsibility and ensuring safety in active environments. All of these experiences have helped me become calm, confident, and adaptable when caring for kids.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important thing about being a nanny is creating a safe and joyful environment where kids feel truly seen and cared for. Their safety is always my top priority—physically, emotionally, and mentally. But beyond that, I believe in being fully present, engaging with them in meaningful ways, and finding joy in the little moments. Whether we’re doing crafts, reading stories, or just having a silly dance party, I want the kids I care for to feel happy, supported, and free to be themselves.
