I have 2 years of experience as a behavior technician working with kids with special needs from ages 2-18 years old. This has not only helped me become amazing with kids, but it’s also given me a different perspective on life.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy educational games, game boards, going for walks and visiting the park, dance battles, and watching a favorite movie.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing to me is creating a connection that truly matters. The ability to stick to a child’s memory so one day they can look back and smile about a certain nanny they had because how cool and awesome they were. That’s the most rewarding thing in the world. I had a few babysitters growing up, but only one sticks with me and I forever thank her.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked as a behavior technician for 2 years. This gave me amazing experience with special needs children, including a child who was blind as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was potty training a kid for months. He was okay with peeing, but always so scared to go “pot pot” unless he was with his mom. One day he couldn’t hold it in but refused to sit on the toilet. I let him do his “pot pot” dance around the bathroom hoping in the last second he would sit down… he didn’t… and the floor was covered, but I still couldn’t help but laugh. He said “Ohhh no”. Guess who had to clean it all up? :)
