Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy finding activities that match each child’s age, personality and interests. I love spending time outdoors, going for walks, visiting parks and playgrounds, exploring nature, gardening, and encouraging active play. Indoors, I enjoy arts and crafts, drawing, music, imaginative play, games, puzzles, reading together and age-appropriate learning activities.
I also love cooking and enjoy involving children in simple, safe kitchen activities when appropriate, such as helping prepare snacks, measuring ingredients or choosing foods for a meal. I think everyday activities can be great opportunities for children to learn, build confidence and have fun.
Most importantly, I enjoy getting to know each child as an individual. Whether they are energetic and adventurous or prefer quieter activities, I’m happy to follow their interests while providing a positive, encouraging and engaging environment.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing and dependable environment where a child feels genuinely cared for and understood. Every child has a unique personality, different needs and their own way of communicating, learning and experiencing the world. Taking the time to understand the individual child is incredibly important to me.
Being a nanny also means earning the trust of the parents. Families are entrusting you with someone who means everything to them, and I take that responsibility seriously. I believe in being reliable, attentive, patient and respectful of each family’s routines, values and parenting preferences.

One day, they surprised me by continuing page after page through an unusually long children’s book. They became animated while reading, adding sound effects and laughter where the story called for it. Seeing their excitement and initiative made such a simple activity incredibly memorable.
