I am a person who’s down to try anything. As long as it makes the kid/parent happy, and it’s safe, I’m more than willing to do any activity that’s presented!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny to me is trust. I 1,000% value trust over everything else because without it, you have nothing. If the parents doesn’t trust you, you’re not going to be around their kid. If the kid doesn’t trust you, you might as well find somewhere else to work. I understand that with time comes trust, and I work my hardest to build and establish that.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with kids who have special needs in numerous age groups. I did substitute teaching from grades preK-12th and I was blessed to work with students who had special needs. Each child is different, so their care will vary. In some classes, I had to hand feed the kids, help with speech, assist with appropriate seizure care, assist with taking them to the bathroom, it really just depended on the child. None the less, I don’t mind doing what is needed.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Although I haven’t nannied yet, my favorite moment from when I was an infant daycare teacher, was when a parent dropped their fussy child off into my classroom and as soon as their child seen my face, a big smile popped up on theirs and they immediately grabbed for me to pick them up. 10/10 experience and it made my heart melt!
