Right now, I also volunteer at a local church in Oneonta, teaching kids church for children aged 3 to 12!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
On indoor days when the weather is probably not too good, I would love to do some sensory activities with children. Things such as kinetic sand (which is mess-free and easy to pick up) and making at-home play dough. For outdoor activities, I could take the kids to a park I know is safe and enjoy being outside. Nature walks are my favorite! And they can tire the kids out a bit so that they are not so antsy when inside!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Its important to know that every child is different and need different things to be their best selves. Nanny’s should not go into a job thinking that it will be as easy as the last. It’s important to keep an open mind. Anything could happen.
