A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Raven! I am a Nashville native! I used to be a medical receptionist and just need a change from the health care world. Prior to that I was a ballet teacher for children 2 years old to 18 years while working in a church nursery every Sunday for nearly 10 years with children 3 months to 4 years old. When I am not kayaking or snuggling up with my rescue pup I am spending time with my nephews aged 1 and 7 year old. I am th eldest of three and with the 8 and 10 year age gap I was always taking care of them. I'm great with kids, I am decent cook and ready to start this next chapter in my career change taking care of your precious ones!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am the eldest of three and my mother was a nanny so I’ve grown up around kids all my life. I was a ballet teacher for kids starting at 2 years old to 18 years. I worked in a church nursery for 10 years every Sunday for ages 5 months to four years old. I also take my nephews in nearly every other weekend aged 1 years old and 7.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’m really into arts and creativity, I love crafting and a huge fan of creating obstacle courses. Puzzles, Leggo’s and dancing!

I was a paraprofessional for fourth grade where I gained experience with children with autism.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love being able to turn a game into an educational experience and one that’s so fun they don’t even know they’re learning. I was watching a set of twins and their older brother where I set up a scavenger hunt. It was fun and they loved it! Also helped the twins practice their colors!
