The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part is making sure the kids feel safe, comfortable, and happy! I want them to feel okay with their parents being gone here and there. I know it can be hard for younger kids to adjust to a new face, so I always do my best to be patient, friendly, and as accommodating as possible. I want both the kids and parents feeling good about having someone watch the kids, and I love being that person! To me, babysitting is more about building trust and new relationships than the money aspect.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think my favorite moment was when a kid I worked with at camp would run up and hug me every morning!
