While I think there are many important factors, I think the most important is connecting and engaging with the kids and making them feel a little less lonely while mom or dad is gone. Seeing things through my perspective, I grew up with my brother watching me while my parents were off at work and I wish I would’ve had a babysitter or someone there who wanted to do the things I’m interested in and make me feel less bored and lonely.
