More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

As stated in my profile I was a nurse. I was never a teacher I was never a licensed daycare provider. However I've spent most of my growing up watching my niece my nephew other people's children my friend's children even as a young adult I loved taking care of children when I became a nurse I missed the interactions I used to have with children teaching them to read, write, walk, talk, structure, scheduling. I may not have had the experience you're looking for but I have had lots of experience with children and children seem to connect with me even at my age 47 because I have great bedside manners I speak with intelligence I am a very meticulous neat person who cares deeply about others and even though I don't have a daycare license I do have passed and present experience with children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoying reading, writing, coloring, playing games, teaching children to use there words, wash there hands, using the potty, taking walks, going to the beach, camping and fishing all the while teaching them along the way. Teaching the respect, and how being truthful and honesty gains you respect. Teaching them colors and shapes. And sizes. The list goes on and on. I am a wonderful housekeeper and I can cook as well. I know that I am not a teacher, or a rocket scientist nor did I have any college degrees in physiotherapy or something like that. But I am responsible, respectful, honest and I'm reliable. I enjoy fun but even more so I enjoy the learning and teaching aspects that the children learn and grow from. And that's the only experience I have.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel the most important part of being a nanny is helping the children continue the structure they have in their home. Schedules, Bedtime habits, naps, eating habits, tv time. Snack time, the same schedule the family has is important to me but it's also important to the children so that they learn structure and so that the family can remain on the same schedule when my shift is done. That is what's important to me. And as a nanny if the family don't have their children on a set schedule ànd would like help in setting schedules for their I would I'd be more than happy to help. I'm the nanny I'm not the mother, the father, the sister or there brother. I feel the most important part of being the nanny is helping the children continue to learn and to grow their own minds and keeping there schedules in their own home is whats most important.

My experience with special needs children...

Hello as I've stated in my demographics above. I may not have a degree in teaching however I will treat all children the same. Some may need a little more help or some may need one-on-one, some may need colors, shapes, toys, and I may need to write it down for them but I will make sure every child has their needs met to the best of my ability and my knowledge. I connect with children and children connect with me so again a special needs child is no different than any other child they just may need a little more time spent with them in a little more help and I have the patience to do so and I believe I have a the knowledge to take care of any special needs child. That being said I may not have any special skills but I have experience, patience. respect, kindness, and honesty. I believe all children should be in equal but I will always take time needed for any child or there any need.

The most important part about being a nanny...

This is my first time applying for a nanny job. So I'm hoping that one of you will choose myself and my demographics to become part of your family and help you with your children so that I can add my very first Nanny experience to my resume.
