More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a preschool teacher for Guidepost Montessori in Leawood! I was a live-in nanny for a month for a 1 and 2 year old. Before that, I’ve taken independently contracted babysitting jobs for 2 years. I used to be a chess instructor for children grades 1-4.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy anything outdoor related with children as that is how I spend my free time. Any game where they can use their imagination is always fun and interesting (telling stories, painting, play-pretend cooking, etc.)

The most important part about being a nanny...

is having a secured connection with the child where they feel comfortable to be themselves. Another important part is setting an example for the children because they truly pick up on everything.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment was when I made a fort out of the couch cushions/items around the house with the kids. Seeing their creativity and joy for something simple was a great feeling.
