Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Before having my own son, who is now 2.5 years old, I was a nanny for two other children. I worked with the family for about three years. When I first started out the boy was 5 months old and the girl was 2 years old. I did occasional babysitting and then progressed to a permanent schedule with them. After a few months of that schedule we started doing overnights as well. The longest time frame I spent caring for the children was three weeks when the parents went on vacation to Japan. I stayed with the children all day and all night during that time. I cooked, cleaned and entertained them as if they were my own and I enjoyed every moment with them.

I love outdoor activities. I enjoying going to the park, swimming, playing with pets, playing music instruments, doing arts and crafts playing games inside learning Spanish and promoting independence and confidence.

The most important part about being a nanny to me is the quality of care. Patience, love, and safety is what every parent wants for their child. That is exactly what I would expect for my own son in any situation, so that is what I would provide for others as a nanny.
