More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have 2 grown children of my own. When my son was 3 and my daughter was 2 I started taking child development courses and began teaching preschool. I taught preschool for 5+ years before I got a job supervising multiple preschool sites for a major school district. That turned into 10 years of directing the same school district’s infant and toddler center. I moved to Las Vegas in August is 2022 to help my mom who had cancer. I worked as a floater teacher at a private K-8th school for the [phone number hidden] school year. I am currently a nanny for 2 boys (4 and 6 years old). We are looking to move back to San Diego in August 2024.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love reading, doing child directed art, building with many different types of blocks, etc., playing and exploring outside, finding activities that are of interest to the individual child.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I enjoying providing support to parents of young children. I love building bonds with the children and becoming an extension of their parents for them. Proving a safe, consistent, loving and nurturing environment for the children is important to me.

In my preschool teaching jobs and in my director position in the infant and toddler center I have lots of exposure to children with special needs.
