A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Regan! I’ve been a nanny going on 5 years now. I love looking after children and being able to give parents peace of mind while they are at work knowing that a piece of their heart is being well cared for. I used to lifeguard which is basically glorified babysitting haha! I am CPR and first aid certified. I used to teach a pre-beginner swimming class to children ages 3 and younger. I have a 5 year old nephew who is my entire world that I’ve been blessed to help raise with my older sister. I love to read all of the books, do all the crafts, play all of the games, real and pretend, as well as race all of the cool cars! I believe children should be able to be children as long as possible and enjoy all the little things this crazy world has to offer. I hope to meet you and your little ones soon!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I used to be a teachers aid for fourth graders and helped the children that did not do super well in a fast paced learning environment. I also was a lifeguard for 3 years and taught swimming lessons to children!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing lots of activities with children! I love craft time from playing with clay and play dough to coloring and painting canvases. Being outside is such a comfort not only for me but the kiddos, from playing tag and digging in the dirt to teaching the littles about gardening and flowers, we always have a blast!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is being able to be a child’s comfort while their parents are away. I was an anxious kid and I always wanted my mom so I know the overwhelming feeling children can feel when they are left alone with a “stranger” to look over them. Being able to be the comfort for kids that most crave while their parents are away is one of the best feelings!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I would say my favorite nanny moments are watching the littles grow so fast! Watching them learn to love tummy time, to being able to sit up on their own, to crawling, to eventually walking! I also really enjoy being able to be a soundboard for the older kids that just need some advice outside of what their parents can give and watching the older kiddos grow into their own confidence is the most rewarding.
