My experience with special needs children...

I have a little brother who is 7 who has severe autism and a sister who's 5 with severe non verbal autism. I've been helping with them since they were babies. My step uncle has down syndrome l. I'd watch him occasionally. My aunt Hedi has a disorder im not sure of the name but it's similar to non verbal autism. I've been helping out with her since I could walk.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was taking my 2 cousins to the zoo and We were going to see the elephants and the first thing the younger sister said was. "Look elephant poop"
