I also want your child to have fun I want to make sure they feel comfortable with me and we can have a relationship stronger than just a caretaker
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve dealt with a 6 year old boy who had autism he was such a free spirit! He loved to dance and sing with me and draw all sorts of things. Not only was I there to care for him I educated him. We’d sit and work on school work for hours on end we’d have our difficulties as there would be with any child but we always persevered and got through it!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I’ve cared for several families and they were all so different. But one memory always remains the same. When we sing together there is really nothing like it. When I see the smile on their faces as they sing a tune or dance along or play instruments with me the love I feel and give is unmatched.
