I am experienced with special needs. Would prefer to have a conversation with you about how best to work with your child specifically. I am rather flexible. If you want me to be hands on, and engage with your child, I will. If you would prefer I am there to make sure they don't get hurt and fed food and that's it, I will do that as well. And anything in-between. I will read with your child, I will play games with them, I will help them with homework. I am a mother, myself, and will ahear to however you discipline your child. And if you prefer I do nothing and let you handle it that is also fine with me. I also have experience as a sitter outside of being a mother. For the past two years I have been working independently as a sitter, and my kids love me. I have even received compliments from the family and community for one of the children being better behaved with me than any other sitter they have had.

My favorite moment was one of the kids I sit for on weekends during TRF, our final weekend together for the year, he cried because he wouldn't get to see me until the following year. It made me both happy and sad. Happy because he enjoyed me watching him, and sad because I enjoyed watching him, and wouldn't get to see him again for another 10 months.
