The most important part about being a nanny...
Creating a safe and comfortable relationship with children is very important to me. I believe a great sitter will not only watch the children but also teach them. I make sure all of my kiddos know I am here for them mentally and physically and if they ever feel unsafe or uncomfortable to talk to me about it and we will then figure it out together.
My experience with special needs children...
I actually have personal experience with little ones with special needs as my daughter is disabled. She has muscular dystrophy and I have also worked with children with autism, Down syndrome, and developmental delays.
