I currently work as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) at an elementary school and have nearly one year of experience supporting children with speech and communication needs. I love working with kids of all ages and abilities, and I’d be happy to provide speech support if needed!
During college, I was actively involved in Best Buddies for all four years—a club focused on building friendships and planning events for adults/children with special needs. I also volunteered in a classroom at a preschool and academy center in Tallahassee, Florida, where I worked with children from preschool age up through 6th grade, many of whom had special needs or other learning delays.
