I use to babysit a boy who had ADHD and Autism and I love the experience I got from it and would do it again.
I also was able to be in a preschool classroom and interact with them because I was a practicum student at SUNY Cobleskill. I didn’t finish my degree but I was able to learn a lot from helping the preschoolers.

I love doing hand on activities like coloring, making crafts. I also like going outside and taking walks when it is nice outside. I believe children learn better when doing hand on activities.
My experience with special needs children...
I cared for a boy who had ADHD and Autism. When I first started with him, he didn’t know how to get dress on his own and by working with him little by little each day he was able to get dress on his own and then put his shoes on by myself.
