I live in Aurora and I’m 19. I’ve been taking care of my nephew(6) for the past 2 years or so whenever needed, my brother went through a lot of trouble just trying to see his kid he had him when he was 17 and for the last 3 years he’s managed to gain access to him and I’ve been helping him throughout the whole process and supporting him as much as possible, given the situation my nephew struggles a lot to be open and trusting which deeply hurts me seeing him one day be happy with us and then him having to go back for the week at his other home then returning looking sad and just not able to trust anyone as he should be, I enjoy spending as much time with him when he is over especially trying to teach him stuff no one else seems to care for, I like to make sure he remembers to read and write because no one else will teach him so I make sure if he’s around I find a way for him to do so. (I don’t have a vehicle, however I can use uber)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Any activity would be fine with me, especially outside so the child doesn’t get bored or fixated on technology only.
