A little bit about me

Hello, I absolutely love kids. I have been an operating room nurse, and a teacher for early childhood education. I have worked with every type of child. I love them all. I’ve worked with infants all the way up, special needs, autistic, Down syndrome, feeding tubes, and everything in between. I was a therapeutic foster parent for 24 years. All of our kids had special needs. It was a life changing job. We have adopted 4 children and in the process of adopting our 5th. I am flexible and dependable. I am also patient, and understanding.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a teacher of early childhood special education. I was also a nanny for the same family for 5 years. Loved watching the kids grow up. I was a therapeutic foster mom for 25 years working with children from birth to 16. I’ve worked with all types of special needs children. My specialty is autism, and even learned to sign to communicate with some of the children. We have adopted 4 children with special needs. It’s been very busy but well worth it. They are now adults and thriving.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to take them out side, on walks, to the park. Water play, arts and crafts. I love doing puzzles and reading with them. Also I love just singing along with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think one of the most important things about being a nanny is making sure that we are giving the best tools and experiences for them to learn. While keeping them safe, and having them watch and learn from you. I also think the more people in a child’s life to love and nurture them, the better off they are going to be.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve worked with all types of special needs children. I taught special education, and was a nanny. I also worked with medically fragile children in foster care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I don’t know if I could pick a single moment, because I have absolutely loved watching them grow up. Watching them make all their milestones and learning. I also love being part of their family. The one thing that I stick out is the fact that the little boy that I was his nanny, was the ring bearer in my wedding. I was a very special moment.

Grace D. - Seeking Work in Myrtle Beach

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Myrtle Beach, SC: Grace D.

Hi! My name is Grace and I'm 20 years old. I'm currently attending Horry Georgetown Technical College while pursuing my education, and I truly enjoy working with children.
I've been babysitting since I was 14, which has given me years of hands-on experience caring for children of different ages. I also have two younger brothers under the age of 10 who have taught me so much about patience, creativity, and the importance of making kids feel safe, supported, and loved.
I would describe myself as compassionate, kind, patient, dependable, and loyal. I believe every child deserves to feel heard, encouraged, and cared for, and I strive to create a fun, positive, and nurturing environment where they can learn, play, and be themselves.
Whether it's helping with homework, planning fun activities, keeping routines on track, or simply being a caring and reliable presence.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Myrtle Beach, SC: Kelly M.

Hi! I’m Kelly! I’ve been babysitting for over 10 years and have experience as an overnight summer camp counselor, caring for kids of all ages in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.

I love helping children learn, explore, and simply enjoy being kids. You’ll usually find us outside, doing crafts, reading books, playing games, or using our imaginations instead of relying on screens whenever possible.

I’m also happy to help with light housekeeping, meal prep, kids’ laundry, and tidying up after the day to help keep things running smoothly.

I’m dependable, patient, and genuinely enjoy building meaningful relationships with the families I work with. I’m looking for a family where I can provide reliable, long-term care and become a trusted part of your support system. I’d love the opportunity to care for your little ones and create a safe, happy environment where they can learn, grow, and have fun!

Emma P. - Seeking Work in Myrtle Beach

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Myrtle Beach, SC: Emma P.

Hi, I’m Emma!
I’m a professional caregiver, tutor, and advocate with a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and a strong commitment to neurodiversity-affirming care. My focus is celebrating each child’s strengths, supporting their unique needs, and fostering growth in a way that respects their individuality.
I have over 5 years of experience working with children, including 3 years as a behavior technician in an ABA center, where I worked directly with autistic children. These experiences have given me insight into creating environments where children feel safe, supported, and empowered to be themselves.
In addition to childcare, I can offer educational support, life skills coaching, and advocacy. I believe in collaboration with families to build consistent, compassionate strategies that work for your child.
If you’re looking for more than “just a nanny” — someone who will be a dedicated partner in your child’s care, learning, and self-confidence — I’d love to connect!
