Hi! My name is Robin and I am 24 years old. I am moving to Boston in August! I am a very outdoorsy, and athletic person. I am currently working on getting my bachelors of social work online. I have a passion for taking care of children and giving them a voice.

I have worked in many different environments, including a home, hospital, clinic and care facility. I have worked with all ages, starting from newborn to the elderly.

I come from a big family, so I grew up watching and taking care of my younger siblings and cousins. I understand the importance of routines for a child and allowing them the space to grow. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and adapting to each child's needs. I am willing to help with household tasks as well.

I have babysat children in my family, and friends kids from church. I have also worked in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and have experience taking care of very sick children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love just being outside. So whether that is at a park, or going on a walk or building a snowman. I like reading and writing. Learning how to cook or paint.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Teaching a child that they are special and have a voice. Allowing them to make mistakes and learn from them and still know that they are important. Celebrating the victories.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a sister who has some disabilities. I grew up close to her, and had to understand what triggers she had, and what things worked to calm her anxiety. It allowed me to learn patience and see life from her point of view.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love seeing a child hit a milestone! Or something that they have been working on. My favorite moments come when a child sees how important they are and accomplish something good.
