Hello! I’m an energetic 19 year old looking for a family that needs an extra hand (or two lol)

I’m currently enrolled at the University of Massachusetts Boston studying business. I have a passion for creating a world of peacefulness and inclusion. I’m dedicated to keeping you and your family happy, healthy, and especially safe.

I am comfortable working with kids of all ages as I do have experience with them. I do light housekeeping naturally. I believe a clean space is key to creating a environment or peace. I am also aware of allergies and/or dietary restrictions while cooking or meal prepping to ensure safety of those consuming. I have a driver’s license but not a personal vehicle. I also can provide check-in’s upon guardians request.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have multiple experiences related around the care of others. I was a babysitter at Work Out Works where me and a coworker would watch groups of up to almost 30 children of all varying ages ranging from 6 months - 17 years old for hours at a time. We would provide activity’s every hours on the hours to keep the children occupied. While also keeping those who did not want to participate in the activity entertained.

In the realm of care I also have experience working at adults. I currently work at an adult care company as a personal advocate for adults with varying disabilities aged 35-70. Where my job title included cooking, cleaning, bathing, and assisting with any other needs they may have.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Don’t activities with children is fun because of there wild sense of imagination. Even the simplest things provide a world of possibility. Even a simple cardboard box provides the opportunity to travel threw time or to hide some pirate treasure. I also think bringing children into the outdoors and teaching them about the world around them is another activity I really enjoy. Nature is all around us and starting children off young to love and enjoy it as they are young is how you create adults who will protect our ever dwindling forests.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a nanny is one of the most rewarding jobs you can have. To be a nanny is to have a hand in the molding of our future. The children we take care of today will grow to be the people who run our county. Helping to teach them positivity and other vital life skills is essential to their success in the future. Having a hand in that process makes the whole job worth it:)

My experience with special needs children...

Despite the fact I have no formal training for children with special needs I do have experience working with clients, as well as family members, who do have these abilities. Learning all that comes along with caring for a child with special needs and implementing tactics to assist them is vital to providing good care. I am very kind, patient, and caring: the three most vital characteristics in a person who successfully works with children who have special needs.
