My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have experience with younger special needs children although my older cousin (18) has a disability where she can’t walk without support and she can’t speak properly. She thinks at a 10 year olds level and I have fun connecting with her! We have grown up together so I have no trouble understanding her and I think I’d have no trouble understanding other special needs children!
