I have volunteered quite a bit. I taught kids how to swim when I was on the swim team at the YMCA. I also have done school projects where I mentored and taught younger kids.

I enjoy everything, whether its playing legos or kicking a ball outside, I love doing it!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I would say the most important part is making sure that the kids are happy. If they are happy and not misbehaving, and they are having fun, then I think I did my job.
My experience with special needs children...
I don't have much experience with special needs children. However, I have taught a camp where we taught special needs children how to play soccer.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I was babysitting for a little boy and all he wanted to do was finish building his lego set before his parents came home. It was at night and right before his bedtime. He was super determined to finish it and I made sure it was fine that he stayed up a little longer, but in the end we finished it, and he was in bed before his parents got home.
