Hi! I’m Rowan Sims, and I love working with kids and creating a fun, safe, and positive environment for them. I’m currently a junior at Chico State, and I’m friendly, responsible, and easy to get along with. Growing up, I would often go to work with my mom at the preschool where she taught, and I think that really helped shape my patience, communication, and ability to connect well with kids. In previous summers, I also worked as a swim coach with children ages 2–14, which gave me even more hands-on experience working with different personalities and age groups. I’ve also played all kinds of sports growing up, which I think helps me bring a lot of energy, teamwork, and creativity when spending time with kids and keeping them active and engaged. Whether it’s helping with activities, keeping routines on track, or just being a dependable extra hand, I’d love the chance to help out.
